Fandames - Fandames is a podcast where two wonderful people talk about fandoms, the internet, and our place in it. They talk about the history of these things, and how we can better help those new to them. (And also about how hot Vegeta is).
Sadness' Net Manifesto - Sadness is an inspiration for me. I've had views on the way the internet has changed over the years for as long as its been changing. I once planned to write something myself (and still do) about how online culture has shifted from the internet I first knew in 2006, how we've tied our real world identities to our online personas, and how the net has become a handful of big websites. Reading this pushed me to carve out my own little space. As you can also see, their layout also inspired me.
Tools
Pinetools Image Splitter - An invaluable tool for splitting up sprite-sheets so making animated gifs is super simple.
EZGIF - Once you've split up a sheet, drop them into EZGIF, tick the "don't stack frames" box, and hit go.
GIMP - For when things aren't as easy as we'd like them to be, and you can't rely on the above. I also highly recommend installing it on an SSD.
